Every bit as good as people say it is. Scheider is phenomenal in the lead role but it’s Fosse who comes out the most impressive here. To make a film about what a loathsome dickhead you are and how you’re hurting everyone around you including yourself. I hope I can be even a fraction of this brutal and sincere in my own self-reflection. Magnificent.
